Bringing Quality Theatre to the Monadnock Region

Actors’ Circle Theatre receives 14 TOP 10 Nominations at this year’s New Hampshire Theatre Awards.

For Immediate Release – January 21, 2011 - PETERBOROUGH, NH – Actors' Circle Theatre (ACT), Peterborough’s award-winning community theatre group, has once again found itself up for nominations at the NH Theatre Awards. Last year ACT walked away with Best Director and Best Supporting Actor for their Shakespeare in The Park production “The Taming of the Shrew”.

This year ACT is nominated again for their Shakespeare production “Merry Wives of Windsor” (up for 6 nominations) along with Wilde’s classic “The Importance of Being Earnest” (up for 8 nominations). “It great to see both shows we produced to be recognized.” said Mariah Sefel, Chair of ACT, “We hope this will help us build on our already growing reputation for the Shakespeare in the Park series and quality shows that our theatre troupe brings to the Monadnock Region alongside Peterborough Players, who were also recognized this year with 15 ‘Top 5’ NH Theatre Awards nominations.”

The NH Theatre will be held on Friday, February 4, 2011 at the Place Theater in Manchester, NH.
